It has been said the way to the heart is through the stomach. Whether consumers are dining alone or with a special someone on Valentine's Day, a sensory food experience can make the night more special. A Valentine's Day meal focused on spicy and garlicky foods? Heart-shaped pizzas for a Galentine's Day night out?
Couples, singles or groups looking for fun dining options have new menu options to consider: The Hard Rock Cafe's "Flavors of Love," "Love Rocks" and "Love Hurts" menus, as well as the California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) heart-shaped pizzas and Sweet Deal for Two options. From a super-sized milkshake menu to a globally inspired menu fit for couples or singles, both restaurants are featuring sensory menu options designed to get to the heart of the meal.
The sensory Flavors of Love menu available at all Hard Rock locations features the super-size shake trend with a nostalgic Hard Rock Sweetheart Shake for Two. The milkshake brings the booze in new "wine and dine" pairings. Served with a custom sweetheart straw for two, the Instagram-worthy shake also offers up a blend of Absolut Vanilla vodka, creamy vanilla ice cream and strawberry and lemon flavors, topped with strawberry-infused whipped cream. Hard Rock also created their own new milkshake combo with a special Strip Steak Scampi entree chef-designed to compliment the sweet flavors of the boozy Sweetheart Shake.
"The Sweetheart Shake for Two is a boozy treat that is sure to set the mood this Valentine's Day, no matter what your relationship status is," said Leigh Merritt, vice president of food & beverage for Hard Rock International. "This year, we are putting a focus on menu modernization, both with our world-famous burgers and new, seasonally-inspired, spirited milkshakes. This fun, delicious menu item is the perfect way to set the tone for what's to come at Hard Rock Cafe!"
For more rock-y and smooth Valentine's Day dinners, select Hard Rock Cafes are also offering the "Love Hurts" and "Love Rocks" menus. In honor of love that is rocking at the holidays, North Atlantic lobster and a Grilled Filet Mignon are on the menu. Both Love Rocks options feature chef-designed sauces like a velvety cream sauce and classic Béarnaise sauce reflecting the smoother side of love. Hard Rock isn't just serving up Valentine's Day food, karaoke and live concerts like The Jordan Berry Duo in Nashville add to the experience during Valentine's week.
The Love Hurts menu puts the focus on a perfect balance of menu items for diners that aren't worried about garlic-y breath. If no kissing is on the Valentine's Day menu, the menu offers up Filet & Frites with herbed garlic butter, seasoned fries and an extra helping of garlic aioli on the side for dipping. The Bleeding Heart Lobster Ravioli features a spicy arrabbiata sauce. Whatever their feelings on love over the holiday, Hard Rock Cafe consumers will say Be Mine to the unique love-themed menus from February 13th to the 16th at participating Hard Rock Cafe locations.
